Optima Energy EV and United Logistic Services Sign Strategic LoI for Charging Infrastructure Development

In a groundbreaking collaboration aimed at advancing sustainable logistics, Optima Energy EV (OEEV) has entered a Letter of Intent (LoI) with United Logistic Services (ULS). This partnership marks a significant step forward in creating a robust Charging as a Service (CaaS) model for ULS’s electric fleet at the Long Beach Port.

 Pioneering Charging Solutions

OEEV is set to install and operate state-of-the-art charging infrastructure, including DC fast chargers and megawatt charging systems, tailored to the heavy-duty electric trucks operating in this vital logistics hub. These chargers will not only serve ULS but also be available to third-party users, enhancing the overall ecosystem for zero-emission transportation in California.

Key Objectives of the Partnership

1. Comprehensive Charging Support

   • OEEV will ensure optimal uptime and seamless operations for the charging infrastructure.

2. Data-Driven Route Optimization

   • ULS will leverage shared operational data to optimize fleet charging schedules and routes.
